Terms Of Use
Welcome to the Nandas website. These Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms of Use”) apply to Nandas website located at www.nandatravel.com, and all associated sites linked to www.nandatravel.com and its affiliates, collectively, the “Websites”. The Websites is the property of G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. (also known as “Nandas”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and its licensors. Your contract in respect to your booking is made with G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd., a licensed Travel Agent and a Hong Kong registered company. By using the Websites, you agree to these Terms of Use, any holiday booked with us is protected and governed by Hong Kong Law.

Please Read The Following Terms And Conditions (The "Terms of Use") Carefully Before Using The Websites

We may make changes to these Terms of Use by updating them at any time and your continued use of our Service after any changes come into effect will constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms of Use. Any existing bookings will continue to be governed by the Terms of Use that applied to your booking when the booking was made. We recommend that you read these Terms of Use before any purchase.

Your use of the Websites is expressly conditioned on your acceptance of the Terms of Use. By using the Websites, you signify that you unconditionally agree and accept to be legally bound by the Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms of Use, you must not use the Websites.

Certain products and services have their own specific governing Terms and Conditions which shall apply in addition to the Terms of Use. These Terms and Conditions for a specific product or service shall include any Terms of Use found on your screens (in relation to the Websites) and when using any part of the Websites. In the event of any inconsistency between the Terms and Conditions for a specific product or service and the Terms of Use, the Terms and Conditions for the specific product or service shall prevail in relation to that specific product or service. If you violate a Travel Provider's Rules and Restrictions, your booking may be cancelled and you may be refused access to the relevant Travel Service. You may also lose any money paid for such booking, depending on the Rules and Restrictions of the Travel provider.

If you are accessing the Websites or initiating transactions on the Websites, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

The Websites is provided to assist customers in creating tailor-made journeys, carefully crafted to deliver a personalized travel like no other. The terms "we", "us", "our", and “Nandas", refer to G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. The terms "you", “customer”, or “the traveler” refers to the customer visiting or using the Websites and booking a reservation through our travel service agents. 

Insurance
You must have travel insurance, whether from Nandas or any other insurance provider, with a minimum medical, evacuation and repatriation coverage of USD200,000 covering all applicable dates of travel with Nanda Tavel and any third-party cruise operator or tour operators which comprise any part of your travel program (hereinafter, “Medical Emergency Travel Insurance Coverage”). You acknowledge and agree that the Medical Emergency Travel Insurance Coverage must cover personal injury and emergency medical expenses. You further represent and warrant to Nandas that you shall obtain the required Medical Emergency Travel Insurance Coverage and that it is not the responsibility of Nandas to verify the quality or existence of your Medical Emergency Travel Insurance Coverage.

We also highly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance, whether via Nandas or any other insurance provider. Baggage insurance is also recommended. In the event that you must cancel your travel program, trip cancellation insurance may be the only source of reimbursement. You acknowledge and agree that, in the absence of you purchasing trip cancellation insurance, you shall be subject to the cancellation fees provided in the Terms of Use displayed on this page.

Nandas is only authorized to sell travel insurance for travel originating from Hong Kong.

Passports and Visas
Valid passports are required for travel to most destinations. Check with the appropriate Consulate or Embassy for the latest visa requirements. You must consult the relevant Embassy or Consulate for passport and visa information. Requirements may change so check for up-to-date information before booking and departure and allow sufficient time for all relevant applications.

It is your responsibility to obtain all proper documentation to travel, including but not limited to a passport, any required visas, reciprocity fees, affidavits, birth and marrige certificate requirements, immunizations, vaccinations, etc. which are required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region which comprises part of your travel program. Nandas makes no representations or warrantees as to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, or special equipment and you agree that Nandas is not responsible for any errors or omissions in this information.

Booking Terms and Conditions For Tours

These Terms and Conditions include important limitations that may affect the guest’s legal rights. Guests should read all provisions carefully before agreeing. By accepting, the guest acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms of Use. These Terms of Use govern the booking and participation in the Tour Package and Journeys between the Guest and G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. They define the contractual obligations and conditions applicable to both parties.

What’s Not Included in Journeys

1. Travel insurance or Guest Protection Program;
2. International and domestic airfare, unless otherwise noted;
3. Passport and visa costs;
4. Reciprocity fees and other border-related charges;
5. Airport departure taxes, unless otherwise noted;
6. Excess baggage fees;
7. Gratuities of any nature;
8. Meals or Beverages not specified in the itinerary;
9. Sightseeing not included in the published itinerary;
10. Personal expenses, such as laundry, WiFi / Internet or communication charges, etc;
11. Optional activities, which are not specified in the itineraries;
12. Any items not mentioned in the inclusion.

Hotel Bookings

All Travel programes are quoted on Twin sharing, per person basis. Most hotels allow check-in during the midafternoon 2-3 pm. If you wish to have a guaranteed room available for immediate check-in upon arrival, an additional room night must be reserved and confirmed in advance. Peak season surcharge/ supplement applicable as per sesonality, like Christmas, New Year etc.


Booking and Payment terms
To proceed with a booking, a deposit equal to 30% of the total price of your travel program is required, subject to the applicable Cruise or Hotel Terms and Conditions. Certain components may require a higher deposit or full payment. Accepted payment methods include credit card, certified check and bank transfer.

The remaining balance is due 120 days prior to departure. For reservations made within 90 days of departure, full payment is required at confirmation. 

If your travel program includes a Cruise, please refer to the Cruise Terms and Conditions for specific deposit deadlines and amounts based on the selected cruise type. Receipt of the deposit does not constitute confirmation of your booking. A booking is only confirmed once we issue a finalized itinerary along with a proforma invoice indicating the final payment due date. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that all payments are received by G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. on or before the due date. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of the deposit and cancellation of the booking. If we are unable to confirm all components of your travel program, we will promptly discuss available alternatives and provide a revised quotation if necessary. Should the revised option differ materially from the original, you will be offered either an alternative arrangement or a refund of your deposit less HKD1,000, administrative fee.

Responsibility and Liabilities
G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. and its associated agents assume no responsibility for injury, illness, damage, accident, loss, delay, death, or irregularities that may affect persons or property. Guests acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with overseas travel and touring. The company is released from all liabilities arising from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism or hijacking, civil unrest, natural disasters, labor strikes, theft, government-issued travel advisories, and other unforeseen events. It reserves the right to alter or modify itineraries in the interest of tour members or due to uncontrollable factors such as weather or local conditions. In the event of cancellation caused by such circumstances — including but not limited to weather disruptions, transport strikes, political unrest, or war — guests shall bear any costs incurred during the processing of the tour.

G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. agrees to provide all of the services listed in your travel itinerary, except for the optional services. Optional services will be billed separately. G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. has no responsibility for any changes in travel plans caused by airlines, train, ferry delay or rescheduling mandated by any of the aforesaid causes beyond our control, the passenger shall have the option of accepting in lieu of the original tour such rescheduled tour or other substituted tour(s) as may be offered. If you would like to modify any portion of your itinerary, you understand that G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. will not bear any of the costs arising from such changes. Refunds for non-used or cancelled services will be issued in accordance with our Terms of Use described. All new services will be billed in accordance with our Terms of Use. Due to the circumstances, including but not limited to, like closure or maintenance of monuments, weather, time, or traffic, etc., the planned visit or activity will be arranged on the next day if possible. No refund can be made if it’s failed to do so.

Cancellation Policy  

All confirmed reservations are subject to a non-refundable administrative fee of HKD1,500 per person. In addition to this fee, guests are responsible for any cancellation charges imposed by service providers such as hotels, cruise lines, charter vessels, transfer and activity providers, rail suppliers, and airlines included in the itinerary or otherwise forming part of the travel program. Unless your travel program includes a Cruise or a Villa, cancellations are governed by the Terms of Use.

If your program includes a Cruise or Rail journey, the Cruise and Rail Terms and Conditions will apply.

If it includes a Villa, the Villa Terms and Conditions will govern cancellation.


For travel programs not involving a Cruise or Villa, cancellations made 90 days or more prior to departure will receive a full refund minus the administrative fee. Cancellations between 60 and 89 days prior to departure will result in forfeiture of the deposit, equal to 30% of the total program price. Cancellations made 59 days prior to departure will incur a charge equal to 50% of the total program price. Cancellations made 29 days or less before departure are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

Additional Terms and Conditions Apply To The Airline Products

Limitation of Liability 

G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. is acting as an agent for airlines or other travel service providers (collectively, Travel Suppliers) in selling travel services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for such services to be provided to you. G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. does not assume liability for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay due to an act of negligence or the default of a Travel Supplier, or by an act of god. Further, no responsibility is accepted for any damage and/or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, pandemics, epidemics, quarantine, government restraints, weather, fire, accidents, earthquakes, riots, strikes, wars, storms, acts of god or causes beyond G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd.'s control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. The contract of carriage in use by a Travel Supplier, when issued, shall be between the Travel Supplier and the passenger.

Ticket Restrictions

Airline tickets available through The Websites are subject to the published conditions of carriage and rules of the applicable airline. Tickets may be purchased between 4 days and 330 days in advance. For tickets not originating from Hong Kong, they may be purchased between 6 days to 330 days in advance. Ticket restrictions and flexibility vary according to the type of fare purchased.

Ticket Payment

If you submit a Request for tickets, you agree that if tickets satisfying your Request are located, the amount of the submitted Request — plus all taxes, charges, surcharges, delivery/handling and Request resubmission or other fees — will be charged automatically to the credit card submitted by you. Such amounts will be posted on the Websites.

Other Service Fee

There may be a processing / service fee per ticket for airline tickets purchased through the Websites. Such non-refundable fee will be listed out for your reference before you are required to enter the credit card number.

Fuel Surcharge Adjustment

The amount of fuel surcharge (if any) paid upon booking confirmation is an estimated cost only. Fuel surcharge is subject to adjustment (either increase or decrease) due to individual policies of airline companies. G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. will redeem extra amount paid by you (if any), and at the same time, reserves the right to request you to pay for the additional amount.

Booking Sequence
1. You should always book the itinerary in sequence from first confirmed departure flight.
2. If you decided to change the first confirmed departure flight with a different country of origin, the whole booking would be cancelled and the ticket would be non-refundable if the ticket is issued.


Use Of Ticket In Right Sequence And Changes In Itinerary

1. Ticket is valid only for transportation shown on the itinerary from the place of departure through any agreed stopping places to the final place of destination.

2. Ticket must be travelled in sequence. If passenger does not show up for the scheduled flight without prior notice, all return or onward itinerary would be cancelled by airline automatically on strictly non-refundable basis.

3. The fare needs to be recalculated when routing is changed. Changes such as reversing/changing direction of travel, departure date and flight number changes may result in fare increase. You are required to pay the fare difference and any additional taxes and surcharges or penalty fee and service fee. You can either accept the revised fare or maintain the original itinerary shown on the ticket.

4. In case of travel change, you are advised to inform Nandas and we will assess the revised fare for the new itinerary or any changes required. Otherwise, the unused portion of the ticket will be non-refundable.

Please note that the terms and conditions for cancellation of bookings and purchases will vary for specific fare terms and conditions for each ticket. Please therefore refer to the terms and conditions of the fare selected or alternatively, check with our Customer Service Team during office hours. Cancellations are subject to cancellation fees which you agree to bear in full. Please note that cancellation after air tickets are issued is not permitted and is non-refundable.

For bookings and purchases which have been pre-paid, refunds may be made at Nandas's sole discretion (subject to the refund policy). It may take an estimated 3 to 6 months before the credit appears in your account for air ticket refund processing. The preceding refund timeline is a guide for your reference only and shall not be binding upon Nandas.

You agree to bear the full cost of any booking, cancellation and administration fees for any products or services booked but not utilized for any reason. G. C. Nanda & Sons Ltd. may charge cancellation and/or amendment fees in addition to those imposed by travel service providers.

The Terms of Use on the Websites are offered in multiple languages. In case of any discrepancy between the English and any of the translated version of the Terms of Use, the English version shall prevail.
